Event Details

Everyone experiences disagreement and tension from time to time, and how we deal with it can mean the difference between disconnection and deepening of our personal, family and work relationships. Few skills have the power to transform our lives more than the ability to ask questions, listen, and hear when conflict arises. Don't miss this powerful session with Karen Alonge, Interpersonal Communication Consultant, teaching motivational interviewing techniques to help you be your best in every relationship!

About Karen:

I've been providing interpersonal communication and parenting consultations to private clients since 2001. I’ve trained and coached thousands of practitioners of Motivational Interviewing - an evidence-based communication model that helps enhance people’s motivation to change - since 2006, including volunteers, staff, and management in education, social service agencies, nonprofits, corrections, counseling, law, and health care.

Session Format:

You'll learn transformative techniques, while engaging in interactive dialogue with other peers who are also interested in growing as individuals and as leaders.
